Kochetok is an urban-type settlement in Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. It is located 2 km from the district center of Chuhuiv. With the beginning of the German-Soviet war, it was occupied by the Wehrmacht on October 30, 1941. The Nazis began to implement the Holocaust policy. It is known that 1 Jew was killed in the village of Kochetok. However, this topic requires further study. Executions of Jews also took place in neighboring Chuhuiv. Soviet-German battles in the Kharkiv region took place with varying success for both warring parties. The Red Army finally took control of Kochetok on August 11, 1943. |

Кочеток – селище міського типу у Чугуївському районі Харківської області. Розташоване за 2 км від районного центру Чугуєва. Із початком німецько-радянської війни окуповане вермахтом 30 жовтня 1941 р. Нацисти почали втілювати політику Голокосту. Відомо, що у селищі Кочеток був вбитий 1 єврей. Втім ця тема потребує подальшого вивчення. Страти євреїв відбувались і в сусідньому Чугуєві. Радянсько-німецькі бої на Харківщині відбувались із поперемінним успіхом для обох воюючих сторін. Червона армія остаточно взяла під свій контроль Кочеток 11 серпня 1943 р. |
