Ulashkivtsi is a village in Chortkiv district of Ternopil region that was home to a small Jewish community. As of 1880, there were 728 Jews here; in 1900—489; in 1921— 138. After the defeat of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921, the village was part of Ternopil Voivodeship of Poland. After the outbreak of World War II in September 1939, Ulashkivtsi was annexed to the USSR. Soon after the beginning of the German-Soviet war, in the first days of July 1941, the village was occupied. On November 30, 1943, 44 Jews were killed in Ulashkivtsi during the liquidation of ghettos and labor camps in Chortkiv district. The execution most probably took place in the forest reserve Dacha Halyleia (“Galileo’s holiday house”). As a result of combat operations, in April 1944, the Red Army took over Ulashkivtsi. |

Улашківці – село Чортківського району Тернопільської області, де проживала не чисельна іудейська громада. Станом на 1880 р. тут було зареєстровано 728, у 1900 – 489, а у 1921 р. – 138 євреїв. Після поразки Української революції 1917–1921 рр. село входило до складу Тернопільського воєводства Польщі. Після початку Другої світової війни у вересні 1939 р. Улашківці були приєднані до складу СРСР. Після початку німецько-радянської війни, село було окуповане у перші дні липня 1941 р. Під час акції із ліквідації гетто і робітничих таборів в Чортківській окрузі, 30 листопада 1943 р. в Улашківцях було вбито 44 єврейки. Ймовірним місцем страти став лісовий заказник «Дача Галілея». У результаті ведення бойових дій у квітні 1944 р. Червона армія зайняла Улашківці. |
