Mykulychyn is a village in Nadvirna district (Ivano-Frankivsk region). The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1412. In the 18th century, 12 Jews lived in the village, and in 1900—608. On the eve of the war, there were 350 Jews in Mykulychyn, comprising 7.1% of the total population. Mykulychyn was occupied on June 30, 1941. In October 1941, over 350 Jews of Mykulychyn, including Hungarian refugees, were shot dead by security police in the Hlyboke tract on the outskirts of the village. The village was liberated on July 26, 1944. A monument was erected at the site of the shooting. In 2011, a memorial plaque in memory of the murdered Jews was erected, financed by Aaron Rosenstock's daughter, Ruth Rosenstock-Michel. |

Микуличин – село у Надвірнянському районі (Івано-Франківська область). Перша згадка про населений пункт датується 1412 р. У XVIII ст. у селі проживало 12 євреїв, а у 1900 р. – 608 чол. Напередодні війни в Микуличині нараховувалося 350 євреїв, що становило 7,1% від загальної кількості населення. Микуличин було окуповано 30 червня 1941 р. У жовтні 1941 р. в урочищі «Глубоке», що на околицях села, поліцією безпеки було розстріляно понад 350 євреїв Микуличина, серед яких були і угорські біженці. Село звільнено 26 липня 1944 р. На місці розстрілу встановлено пам’ятник. У 2011 р. на кошти доньки одного із загиблих Арона Розенштока – Рут Розенсток-Мішель – встановлено меморіальну дошку в пам’ять про вбитих євреїв. |
