Krymne is a village in Starovyzhivskyi district of Volyn region. At the beginning of World War II, a Jewish community lived here. After the German attack on the USSR, on June 29, 1941, a ghetto was established in the village. Implementing the policy of the Holocaust, on September 6, 1942, about 400 residents of the Krymne ghetto were shot in the Pisotske natural landmark near the village. In 1980, a monument was erected at the site of the massacre. Mass executions of Jews during the Nazi occupation also took place in the neighboring villages of Nova Vyzhva and Smidyn. In the second half of July 1944, the territory was occupied by the Red Army. |

Кримне – село у Старовижівському районі Волинської області, де на початку Другої світової війни проживала єврейська громада. Після нападу Німеччини на СРСР, 29 червня 1941 р. у селі було створено гетто. Втілюючи політику Голокосту, 6 вересня 1942 р. близько 400 жителів кримненського гетто були розстріляні в урочище Пісоцьке, що поблизу села. У 1980 р. на місці страти було встановлено пам’ятник. Масові розстріли євреїв у період нацистської окупації також відбулись у сусідніх селах Нова Вижва та Смідин. У другій половині липня 1944 р. вказану територію зайняла Червона армія. |
