Skuraty is a village in Malyn district of Zhytomyr region, located 30 km away from the district center. Its first mentions date back to the second half of the 16th century. According to the 1897 census, Jews comprised 11% of Skurat's population—189 people.

The village was occupied in the summer of 1941. In September of the same year, 36 Jews from Skuraty (according to other sources, 43) were shot on the way to Korosten. Jews from Chopovichi and Meleniv were also killed on the way to Korosten.

Скурати – село Малинського району Житомирської області, розташоване за 30 км від районного центру. Перші відомості датуються другою половиною XVI століття. Згідно з переписом 1897 року, євреї складали 11% населення Скурат – 189 осіб.

Село окуповане влітку 1941 року. У вересні цього ж року, по дорозі до Коростеня було розстріляно 36 (за іншими даними 43) єврея зі Скурат. По дорозі до Коростеня також були вбиті євреї з Чоповичів та Меленів.
