Ksaveriv is a village in Malyn district of Zhytomyr region. Its first mentions in written sources date back to the first half of the 17th century. The first mention of the local Jews dates back to the second half of the 17th century. According to the 1897 census, the village had a population of 455 Jews, or 36.6% of the total population. Before World War II, Ksaveriv belonged to Bazar district. The village was occupied in August 1941. In September, 50 local Jews were shot. Their burial place is located to the north of the village, on the road to the village of Savluky. The executions of Jews also took place in the district center: during 1941, the Nazis shot about 200 people in Bazar. |

Ксаверів – село Малинського району Житомирської області. Відоме в письмових джерелах з першої половини XVII століття. В другій половині XVII століття з’являються перші згадки про євреїв у Ксаверові. Згідно з переписом 1897 року, в містечку проживало 455 євреїв, що складало 36,6% населення. Перед початком Другої світової війни Ксаверів належав до Базарського району. Село окуповане в серпні 1941 року. У вересні 50 місцевих євреїв було розстріляно, їх місце поховання знаходиться на північ від села по дорозі на с. Савлуки. Розстріли євреїв відбувалися і в самому райцентрі: протягом 1941 року нацисти розстріляли в Базарі близько 200 осіб. |
