Sobolivka is a village in Andrushivka district of Zhytomyr region. During World War II, it was part of the Dovbysh district of Zhytomyr region.
The Nazis occupied the town in late July, 1941. In late August 1941, they shot 44 Jews from Sobolivka and Dovbysh (those who escaped the August shooting in the town fled to their relatives in the village). The shooting took place on the eastern outskirts of Sobolivka in the direction of the village of Vyla. The shooting was performed by units of the Pivden police regiment and the local police.

Cоболівка – нині село Романівського району Житомирської області. На період Другої світової війни воно входило до складу Довбиського району Житомирської області.
Нацисти окупували село на початку липня 1941 року. Наприкінці серпня 1941 року вони розстріляли 44 євреї з Соболівки та Довбиша (в село до родичів тікали ті, хто врятувався від серпневого розстрілу в місті). Розстріл відбувся на східній околиці Соболівки в напрямку до села Вила. Розстріл здійснювали частини поліцейського полку «Південь» та місцева поліція.
