Myropil is a town in Romaniv district of Zhytomyr region. It has been known in written records since the late 15th century. The first mention of the Jews of Myropil dates back to the early 18th century. As of 1897, Jews comprised 39% of the town's population—1,912 people.
Myropil was occupied on July 6, 1941, and about 70% of the Jews failed to evacuate. A ghetto was established in the town.
One of the places of execution of local Jews was the village of Kamianka, now a part of Myropol. There were three shooting campaigns: September 28, 1941, December 1941, and January 1942. The total number of people shot is 253. The exact location of the killings remains unknown.
Apart from the town itself, the Jews of Myropil were also shot in two other locations.

Миропіль – селище міського типу Романівського району Житомирської області. Відоме в писемних пам’ятках з кінця XV століття. Перші згадки про євреїв Мирополя датуються початком XVIII століття. Станом на 1897 рік євреї складали 39% населення містечка – 1912 осіб.
Миропіль було окуповано 6 липня 1941 року, близько 70% євреям не вдалося евакуюватись. На території містечка було створено гетто.
Одним з місць розстрілів місцевих євреїв стало село Кам’янка, нині частина Мирополя. Тут було здійснено три акції розстрілу: 28 вересня 1941 року, в грудні 1941 року, в січні 1942 року. Загальна кількість розстріляних складає 253 особи. Точне місце убивств невідоме.
Євреї Мирополя розстріляні ще у двох місцях у межах самого містечка.
